Common Questions
Is a relationship with Christ necessary for this devotion?
Yes—this is a sacred act of placing your household under the loving authority of Jesus Christ. While anyone may desire a spiritual blessing for their home, true consecration is an expression of faith and a heart yielded to God. It is less about the specific words spoken and more about a family’s intentional commitment to follow the Lord together. By dedicating your space to Him, you are inviting His presence to dwell within every wall and heart in your household.
Is clergy needed to perform the blessing?
You are welcome to invite a priest or pastor to lead the ceremony, though their presence is not a requirement for the process.
May we invite our friends and extended family?
We encourage you to share this day with loved ones. It is a beautiful opportunity to testify to your faith and the new chapter your family is beginning.
Can I lead this ceremony?
Certainly. You have the spiritual authority to dedicate your own home.
May we include our own prayers?
We love when families share from the heart. It is very special when each person prays specifically for the rooms where they spend the most time.
What can we expect during the actual ceremony?
Two members of our team will join your family to walk through each room, offering guided prayers of blessing.
Are there any fees for consecrating our house?
No, this is our gift to the community of Dripping Springs. We feel called to see God's Name placed on every home in Dripping Springs and would never ask for payment for this ministry.
